What is PRP therapy?
PRP therapy, also known as “vampire lifting,” uses processed autologous blood to gently regenerate the skin. The platelet-rich plasma that is extracted is injected into the skin in small amounts, where it stimulates collagen production and blood flow. Since only the body’s own material is used, the method is considered particularly low-risk and natural.
For me, PRP is the most consistent form of natural aesthetics: We use only what the body itself provides.
Treatment Process
After a blood sample is drawn, the plasma is processed and then injected in a targeted manner.
- Consultation and Blood Draw
- Processing of platelet-rich plasma
- Injection into the affected areas
- A series of 4 sessions held once a month

FAQ - Frequently asked questions
Is PRP safe?
Yes, since only your own processed blood is used, allergic reactions are virtually impossible. When performed properly, PRP is considered to be very low-risk.
When will you see the first results?
Immediately after treatment, the skin often looks fresher and firmer. The lasting effects become clearly visible after three to four sessions.
Does PRP also help with hair loss?
Yes, PRP is also frequently used to treat diffuse hair loss because it promotes blood circulation in the scalp and cell regeneration.
How many sessions are recommended?
For best results, we recommend 3 to 4 treatments, spaced one month apart.
Is PRP treatment painful?
The treatment is generally well tolerated. A local anesthetic can make the treatment even more comfortable. After the treatment, mild redness, swelling, or tenderness may occur.
Costs
PRP therapy is part of the Medical Aesthetics self-pay program. One treatment costs CHF 350; for optimal results, we recommend at least 4 sessions spaced one month apart. Ask about discounts for a longer series of treatments.
