What is EmSculpt?
EmSculpt is an innovative procedure that uses electromagnetic pulses to trigger thousands of supramaximal muscle contractions—an intensity that is virtually impossible to achieve through active exercise. This noticeably strengthens the muscles while simultaneously and specifically reducing fat cells in the treated area. EmSculpt is the only procedure that helps both women and men build muscle and burn fat, and it also provides gentle, non-invasive buttock contouring.

FAQ - Frequently asked questions
Does EmSculpt replace working out at the gym?
EmSculpt complements physical activity but does not completely replace it. The treatment is particularly well-suited for specifically strengthening muscle groups that are difficult to target during everyday exercise.
Is EmSculpt also suitable for rectus diastasis?
Yes, EmSculpt can help improve rectus diastasis—a separation of the rectus abdominis muscles—which is common after pregnancy.
How many sessions are recommended?
As a general rule, several sessions spaced a few days apart are recommended to achieve visible muscle growth. We’ll work out the exact plan on an individual basis.
Is the treatment painful?
No. The muscle contractions feel intense but not painful. Many patients compare the sensation to a very intense workout.
When will the first results be visible?
The first changes may become visible after just a few weeks. The effect may become more pronounced with each subsequent session. How quickly results appear varies from person to person and depends, among other things, on the individual’s starting point, fitness level, and treatment goal.
Costs
EmSculpt is part of the self-pay Medical Aesthetics program. The cost depends on the number of treatment areas and sessions. We recommend a course of 6–10 treatments. Costs: arms, CHF 180; abdomen and buttocks, CHF 200 per session. Learn more during your personal consultation.
