What is carboxytherapy?

Carboxytherapy is a non-surgical treatment used in aesthetic medicine. Medical-grade carbon dioxide is precisely injected under the skin using a very fine needle. The body responds by increasing local blood flow, which improves the supply of oxygen to the cells. The result is firmer, fresher-looking skin and a healthier complexion. Since CO2 is a gas that occurs naturally in the body, the method is considered to be particularly well-tolerated and associated with few side effects.

Naturopathic Therapist, Medical Aesthetics

To me, carboxytherapy is a prime example of gentle aesthetics: We work with a substance produced naturally by the body and help the skin regenerate itself.

Treatment Process

After a brief consultation, the medical-grade CO2 is precisely administered to the affected area.

Yes. Carboxytherapy generally does not involve any downtime. Mild redness, swelling, or a temporary feeling of tightness may occur, but these symptoms usually subside quickly. After the treatment, you can generally resume your normal activities.

Costs

Carboxytherapy is part of the self-pay Medical Aesthetics program. The cost depends on the size of the treatment area and the number of sessions. Face: starting at CHF 100; body: starting at CHF 150 per session. Prices are determined on an individual basis during a personal consultation.
