What is microneedling?

Microneedling is a non-invasive treatment method in which fine needles create tiny microchannels in the skin. This targeted stimulation promotes natural regeneration and boosts the body’s own production of collagen and elastin. Nourishing active ingredients can also be introduced through the resulting microchannels. The result is a visibly refined, firmer, and more even complexion.

Microneedling harnesses the skin's natural healing abilities. It is precisely this natural approach that wins me over—and my patients as well.

Treatment Process

After thoroughly cleansing the skin, a sterile device with fine needles is guided precisely and carefully over the affected areas.

FAQ - Frequently asked questions

Most patients describe the treatment as a mild scratching sensation that is easily tolerated. If desired, the skin can be numbed beforehand.
After treatment, you may experience mild redness and swelling, which usually subside within a few hours or by the next day.
We generally recommend several sessions spaced four to six weeks apart to achieve optimal results.
It is particularly effective for acne scars, fine lines, pigmentation issues, and general signs of aging.
You can usually resume your normal activities immediately after the treatment. Your skin may be slightly red and sensitive for a short time. You should avoid intense sun exposure, exercise, and saunas for a short time.

Costs

Microneedling is part of the self-pay Medical Aesthetics program. The cost is determined on an individual basis during a no-obligation initial consultation and starts at CHF 300. We recommend at least one course of treatment.
