The laboratory costs for bioidentical hormone therapy include
- the comprehensive first hormone laboratory
- Regular smaller control analyses during ongoing hormone therapy
These costs are billed via the «Tardoc» outpatient tariff and are generally covered by Swiss basic insurance or supplementary insurance.
Please note:
- A few analyses (e.g. pregnenolone, serotonin, vitamin D) are not reimbursable and will be invoiced to you directly by the laboratory
- For reasons of scientific evidence and uniform reference values, we can only accept hormone analyses from our reference laboratory
